Swindlestock
"...a rootsy Americana, blues treat"
We saw the mighty Swindlestock at last year's Punt and fell in love with them. They aren't just one sound, but many, many great ones - "a rootsy Americana hoedown where the blues and the booze mingle on the banks of the Mississippi, BB and Albert King pop round for a few jars". Exactly. Sing, dance and cry all very much guaranteed. Check out their excellent single "Kind Woman Highway Blues".

Little Brother Eli
"Black Keys vs Kings of Leon"
Touring in support of their new EP the London/Oxford 5 piece mix up delta blues and hard-hitting rock with the influences of The Black Keys, Brothers and Bones & Kings of Leon. We've been fans for a while so are really pleased to finally get them to come and play at one of our nights. Check out their rather ace track "Who Do You".

Billy T'rivers and the Wild West Retirement Home
".....like the The National vs Bon Iver"
They have by far the longest name of any band that has ever played for us, but this is not their only achievement - they have also held us spellbound when Billy played acoustically at our special sold out Oxjam gig last October. Now with full band in tow this is sure to be a special gig, following the release of their debut album last year this is a rare outing for the full band with their modern day take on folk/country, like the epic The National or Bon Iver. Watch the video for the brill tune "Baited Breath".
