HANS CHEW (New York, NY)
New York City’s Hans Chew returns to the UK this May for a solo piano tour. Hans will be playing a combination of old and new songs on both piano and guitar, drawn from the acclaimed album ‘Life & Love’ as well as from his forthcoming new LP.
‘Life & Love’ was released in March 2014 and has received high praise from a wide range of music publications including Uncut Magazine, which featured the album in their ‘Best of 2014 Thus Far’ list (alongside the likes of Drive By Truckers, Bill Callahan and Rosanne Cash). Louder Than War described it as “a barn storming second album...the sound of an artist & band at their peak” while Popmatters simply called it “dixie-fried rock ‘n’ roll awesomeness”.
