The Flow Brothers- Trio of sassy boys playing enjoyable/accessible indie tunes very well indeed with a bit of post Radiohead heft but overall a nice Bowie tinged dreamy pop taking in all sorts from The Verve to Blur.… Just back from playing in Brazil! Junkyard Choir- post punk meets backwoods grunge and just a little urban rocknroll.. Tom Waits via The Clash and The Meat Puppets…niceness. B-Movie Thieves- Fiery female fronted indie rock with a post punk twist a la the Yeah Yeah Yeahs meets Siouxsie and the Banshees via Angelfish. The British IBM- playing a honeyed music that has a rumbling ’80s indie feel hock fulla cool sunny retro-ism to enjoy thru an intense delivery with a nice keening vocal atop- like a lofi noisier Smiths with some MBV buzz and a bit of Ride and Blur buried deep within…about to launch their new long player at ya….
