Daria- Young powerful female performance- some funk/soul covers from school of James Brown etc but the marvellous voice also bestraddles the odd haunting original taking in a little bit of Alanis Morrisette, though with soulful sass. Jessica Rhodes- easy on ear and eye alike, a sultry performance but with a bit of tood too. Katie Melua shaped piano toting smouldering boho fare… perhaps more Nora Jones in execution. Joe Jury- A sweet stab at bluesy folk, JJ has a nice soulful voice and musically it’s Damien Rice via Ben Howard. Good of its kind.
