Postcards From Jeff release their debut album Modern Language July 2015. An elegy for cinema revealing stolen glimpses of another world, another life. Each track a cinematic snapshot, shifting and shimmering in a flickering film light, capturing the timeless claustrophobia and psychodramas of small town suburbia. A soundtrack to a world wrapped in a rich language of isolation, of disconnection and delicious melancholia, where characters reach out to connect but miscommunicate with every step, staring into the darkness from the tree lined streets, out across the windswept moors and epic cloudscapes to a coming storm.

Underpinned by a Lost In Translation-style isolation or a self-proclaimed "perennial yearning for pastures new and greener grass," elements of far flung folk, electronica, country, krautrock and pop are seamlessly brought together in a worldlier embrace.

A dreamy ride that gets inside of you in a good way. This is a new type of dream pop, folks. Get on board, take a journey.

Glass Ankle is an Indie/Alternative Pop band from Manchester and Cheshire with a sound that sound that encompasses soaring melodies, impeccable boy-girl harmonies, oozing guitar and synth passages, and subtle experimentalism.

Their songs abandon the convention of folk and other low volume templates, achieving a distinctively eclectic sound.

Glass Ankle's last E.P. release, 'Fragments', received glowing reviews from many respected publications and blogs, and radio play on XFM (Hattie Pearson, John Kennedy), BBC Radio 6Music (Tom Robinson) and BBC Radio Manchester (Michelle Hussey).
