“The Queen of Cabaret” (Libby Purves – BBC Radio 4 Midweek), London cabaret legend Eve Ferret, returns to London’s West End, having graduated from the seminal Blitz Nightclub in the 1980’s to appearing alongside David Bowie in both his BLUE JEANS video and his movie ABSOLUTE BEGINNERS; to starring in Hollywood movies such as HAUNTED HONEYMOON with Gene Wilder; Ronald Neame’s FOREIGN BODY; co-starring with Phil Daniels and Alun Armstrong in BILLY THE KID AND THE GREEN BAIZE VAMPIRE; and playing opposite the great Stanley Baxter in TV’s MR. MAJEIKA.

'Eve Ferret – Madame Bouffant' is a life enhancing mix of Eve’s own original songs and a completely unexpected choice of material that has audiences giving her standing ovations for her ebullience, wit and energy in a show full of chaos and nostalgia, supplied by Eve and her mystery guest stars.

Described by Robert Elms on BBC Radio London as “A great British eccentric and a brilliant performer” (but what does he know?), Eve is now returning to cabaret, her first love, combining her rollicking (yet tender) voice with bursts of surreal humour and infectious joie de vivre. ‘This is Cabaret’ called her an “Overflowing toy box of ideas” and she's nabbed several awards along the way, including the Time Out Critic’s Award for Cabaret.

Eve is one of the most original performers on the stage today, likened to the Marx Brothers (all of them (except the silent one) at the same time) and no two shows are ever the same!
