In their most ambitious collaboration so far, The Hermes Experiment join forces with photographer Thurstan Redding to present LOVESCAPES, a Musical Exhibition.
Five new works by Ed Scolding, Freya Waley-Cohen, Josephine Stephenson, Kate Honey and William Cole will be premiered in response to specially-commissioned photographs exploring human relationships in a contemporary world. Together, they form a multi-sensory experience, through the spontaneous creation of sound mirroring the capture of a single, unique moment. The Hermes Experiment and Thurstan Redding use this point of intersection to spark a new world of musical love, joy, pain, longing, and desire, framed by two DJ sets by Tom Rose from Slip Imprint.
LOVESCAPES is contemporary music for a contemporary culture.
