Word of Mouth is a London-based jazz fusion project featuring Asha Keys and a host of well-respected musicians including Rick James, Chris Stanisław Webb, Pete Ray Biggin, Alan Short, John Altman, Bob Altman, Troy Miller, Alexei Elfenbein, Gareth Brown, Luca Campaner, Tomoaki Harada, Michel Castellanos Rojas, Will Fry, Javier Camilo, and many others since the group was formed in 2003. After an initial residency at the Troy Bar the band has played at many other venues including the Bicester Jazz Festival and the Roof Garden in Kensington. An album of original compositions, Akuia (Born on a Wednesday), many of which will be featured in the show, has been recorded for Avex Japan.
