Event information
The June Brides formed in 1983, pioneering the original UK independent music scene, better known as C86. Their fans include Manic Street Preachers (who covered “The Instrumental”), Morrissey and Belle and Sebastian’s Stuart Murdoch. Now they‘re back with new music, a line-up of several original members and of course main songwriter, vocalist & guitarist, Phil Wilson.
The Fallen Leaves play 60s garage rock or 'punk rock for gentlemen' (and gentlewomen too). Guitarist Rob Symmons was a member of the original Subway Sect back in 1976. Think Billy Childish meets Subway Sect.
