Not The Same Old Blues Crap proudly presents....
Kitty, Daisy & Lewis album launch party
at The 100 Club
Not The Same Old Blues Crap is very proud to host the album release party for North London’s teenage rockin’ sensation, Kitty, Daisy & Lewis at The 100 Club on Wednesday 30th July. Kitty, Daisy & Lewis’s self titled debut album is released by Rob da Bank’s label Sunday Best on July 28th.
Multi-instrumentalists Kitty Daisy & Lewis play guitar, piano, banjo, lap steel guitar, harmonica, double bass, ukulele, trombone and accordion between them. The album was recorded in glorious, utterly digital-free analogue by Lewis and his father Graeme in their home studio in Kentish Town. A stickler for living and breathing the music they play and talk so passionately about, Lewis DJs, collects and even cuts his own 78rpm records when he isn’t recording with his sisters. This obsessive passion for the vintage music that inspires their performances led to their compilation ‘A to Z - Kitty, Daisy & Lewis - The Roots Of Rock n Roll’ being named Guardian’s 2007 ‘Albums Of The Year – 5/5’.
