ELECTRIC EEL SHOCK and TEN BENSON make up a granite hard double bumper bill at our inaugural show at Madame Jo Jo’s in the heart of Soho on Thursday 31st July.

Electric Eel Shock are a glorious celebration of Classic Rock, Punk and Metal. A true power trio that harks back to rock’n’rolls golden age before everything went weird with multitudes of ever fracturing sub-genres. Exploding out of Japan in 1999 with a mutual obsession with Black Sabbath, Electric Eel shock embarked on a never ending world tour that has seen them cross all four corners of the globe. They turn the conventional perception of metal on its head but retain a raw power that comes with growing up listening to AC/DC, Aerosmith, Motorhead, Motely Crue etc. In fact they learnt to speak English by reading interviews with their metal hero’s in Burrn Magazine!!! Electric Eel Shock are as compelling a live proposition as their fellow country men Guitar Wolf.

Ten Benson are a North London legend that has revolved around the axis of Chris Teckham since 1997 with constantly mutating line up that now includes NTSOBC veteran Marc Sallis (Marc was lead guitarist in The Dirty who played some of the first NTSOBC shows way back in the day). Self styled “Psychedelic Hillbillies”, The ‘Benson are back to reclaim their place as London’s hardest rocking band.
