Well, wrassle my gator! And twang my G strings. The ever-popular StonyBreakDown! Is back with more glorious banjos, mandos, and fiddles. Instruments designed to tickle the auditory canals & leave one’s head feeling refreshed and on a musical high.
It’s a fund-raising Christmas special, with the door money going to help create an additional event which is a fund-raiser for Alzheimer’s and Cancer research.
The Wood & Wire Festival in Northampton is planned for April 16th 2016. It is a follow on from the Northampton Bluegrass Festival which raised a five figure sum in 2014 and saw 100% of the money raised go directly to charity thanks to musicians giving their time totally FOC.
So why not help us to help others and nudge forward research for illness by supporting these musicians playing free for the good causes.
Confused? Just come along, pay your £fiver, sample the goodies at the real ale (and other stuff) bar, and ENJOY SOME RIP-SNORTIN’ Bluegrass and Stringband music.
It’ll be more fun than tootin’ yer durn.
