This is a Triple Vintage Birthday Poetry & Music gig, Celebrating Michael Horovitz's 80th birthday, the 35th Anniversary of his launching of the Poetry Olympics Festivals, & the 50th year since, with the American Beat Poets & other jazz poetry superstars, he put together the now legendary First International Poetry Incarnation (filmed as Wholly Communion). Among the musicians & poets performing apart from himself will be Pete Brown, Kayo Chingonyi, Adam Horovitz, Molly Parkin, Vanessa Vie, multi-instrumental virtuosa Ayanna Witter-Johnson, pianist Pete Lemer, bass guitarist-slinger Jennifer Maidman, trombonist-bandleader Annie Whitehead, drummer Clark Tracey, jazz bass giant Alec Dankworth & Sun Ra Arkestra multi-saxophonist Knoel Scott, with other alumni tba – with doors opening 19:30 & show 19:45 till late
