A pairing of two generations of captivating singer songwriters, Amy Wadge and Luke Jackson, touring together for the second time across the UK
Amy Wadge is widely regarded as one of the country's most successful female singer/songwriters. Over the course of five solo albums, two collaborations, numerous compositions for other artists and hundreds of live performances all over the globe, she has established an outstanding body of work. Her voice is simply amazing with a breathtaking range and emotional impact while her songwriting continues to surpass most of her contemporaries.
She has recently written songs with numerous upcoming songwriters, including Ed Sheeran, who released an EP, “Songs I Wrote With Amy”. Ed’s recent globally best-selling single, “Thinking Out Loud” was co-written with Amy and has brought her songwriting even greater critical acclaim from a wider audience, along with BRIT and Grammy nominations.

Luke Jackson is a rising young Roots singer/songwriter from Canterbury, Kent , and 2013 saw him nominated for both the Horizon Award for Best Emerging Talent and the BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Awardand in 2014 he was named Fatea’s “Male Arist iof the Year”
With a bold, show stopping voice and honed guitar skills, Luke is a confident and captivating performer demonstrating an astonishing maturity. He has been making waves on the live acoustic scene supporting such luminaries as Show of Hands, Karine Polwart, Oysterband and Martyn Joseph and he has delivered startling performances on the UK festival scene, from Cambridge to Sidmouth and The Great British Folk Festival. In the last year Luke as been touring with Marillion, playing large venues across Europe, along with playing solo show in The Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.
According to Acoustic Magazine, he is “an outstanding heir to the likes of Richard Thompson and Martin Simpson”. With a wealth of finely-observed narrative songs, his most recent mini-album, “This Family Tree” emphasises the exceptional maturity and versatility of one of the most exciting young singer songwriters and live performers on the scene!
