Yorkston/Thorne/Khan are an experimental group that includes James Yorkston (Domino Records), one of the most "influential singer/songwriters on the Scottish folk scene", Suhail Yusuf Khan, award winning sarangi player and classical singer from New Delhi and Jon Thorne, best known as jazz double bass player with electro outfit Lamb.
Laura Moody is an astonishing solo cellist. Laura played a sold out show at the Blackwells Norrington Room with us early in 2015, she was so amazing, we invited her back to play our 2015 Summer Session but sadly she had to drop out. As luck would have it, Laura is now touring the UK with YTK, and we welcome her with open arms. Wow she'll be amazing in this venue!
George Chopping is our host for the evening. We just love his dark, sharp wit.
All the artists we programme are headliners so it pays to get there from the start.
