The Emily Francis Trio are kicking off their debut UK tour tonight at Jazz Café POSK with the official launch of their album, “The Absent”:
Bringing influences from progressive rock, jazz-rock, 70’s jazz-funk and soul, Emily Francis Trio combines a strong melodic and groove based approach with a traditional improvised sensibility, resulting in a series of fresh and exciting new compositions.
After positive reviews from their debut album release, the band is bringing their music to Jazz venues throughout the UK. Emily Francis Trio represents an accessible, richly textured, and dynamic addition to the UK jazz scene.
