Come down to the atmospheric and friendly Jamboree bar to party with the Shout Collective DJs and their special live guests for a night of guitar driven rock n roll with a twist. Headliners DESERT ROCK feature British Blues guitarist and vocalist Ramon Goose. The band combine West African Mandinka rhythms with earthy trancey blues. Ramon formed Desert Rock to get back to edgier more dangerous blues and he’s certainly succeeded as the band fire out a dirty, rockin’ live sound. Support comes from singer-guitarist GARRY “THE SLIDE GUY” SMITH. With roots in the blues and a whole heap of other influences at his fingertips, he takes the slide guitar to some interesting places, mixing wittily worded original material with the occasional well chosen cover.
