Celebrating 9 years of our wonderful Polish Jazz Café POSK we present Polish based guitarist and composer Maciej Grzywacz teaming up with UK award winning guitarist Nigel Price backed by an all-star rhythm section featuring bass legend Alec Dankworth, drum virtuoso Noel Joyce and London based reedsman Kelvin Christiane and a guest appearance by vocalist Lesley Christiane.
This will be a great night of superb Jazz!
Maciej Grzywacz is a Polish based Jazz guitarist, composer and arranger. Born in 1969 he is a graduate from the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw and The University of Music and Performing Arts in Munich.
He has played on many recordings with major artists and has recorded 6 solo projects performing his own compositions, the last of which “Connected” from 2015 won major critical acclaim. He was also a member of Fryderyk award nominated Polish Jazz group (0-58) together with Krystyna Stanko.
