In Conversation: Clare Woods and Des Hughes

To coincide with their joint exhibition The Sleepers, Simon Martin will lead a conversation with contemporary artists Clare Woods and Des Hughes, discussing their approach to painting and sculpture, their response to the work of Modern British artists such as Henry Moore, Barbara Hepworth and Paul Nash, as well as their public commissions including for the Olympics. A signing of Woods’ new monograph will follow.

A wine reception courtesy of the Friends of Pallant House Gallery will follow each talk.
