As part of the 400th anniversary celebrations, the LitFest is dedicating a whole two hours to the glorious Bard, William Shakespeare.
World renowned for his classic comic/tragic tales of bloody political intrigues and familial divisions, romantic sonnets and stunningly worded insults, he also introduced many popular sayings to the modern language. Shakespeare is a true icon of Englishness and loved throughout the world, with millions gripped by his work.
Part performance, part analysis, mostly light-hearted and irreverent, come and join us as we journey through a brief survey of some of Shakespeare's greatest hits!
Saturday, 23 April from 1.30 - 3.30pm. Doors open 1.15pm.
