This month featuring... PALINKA - the spirit of Transylvanian Village Music.
All female group, Palinka, is a group of musicians who have been brought together by their shared passion: Hungarian, Romanian and Roma (Gypsy) music from the remote villages of Transylvania. They called the band “Palinka” after the most famous spirit in the region (and their favourite drink!) All the band members have studied the music in various villages throughout Transylvania,
Hungary and Romania. After a recent gig, the crowd did not want it to stop, so they ended up having a street party until the early hours of the morning
outside the venue.
They won’t be going that far tonight, but expect a lively evening!
PLEASE NOTE: the venue comprises both seated and standing space. There are a limited number of tables. These are allocated on a first come first served basis, with priority given to diners. If you’d like a table, please ensure you arrive early (doors open 7pm).
Music starts at 9pm. NO ENTRY AFTER 9.30pm.
