Event information
Sam mixes Delta blues and Country with English folk influences in a beguilingly direct and heartfelt fashion. He plays mostly 12-string guitar in a twangy, rootsy style while his vocal delivery recalls childhood heroes like Leadbelly and Guthrie. Happily, he has recovered from the broken wrist which scuppered his 2015 booking here.
