Hailing from the southern naval town of Portsmouth, THE MODEL VILLAGE are ahead of their game. Fuelled with a healthy passion for truth, poetry and Rock & Roll, TMV can make a believer out of even the most elitist music listener. Fads, fashions and genres hold no place in TMVs heart and even though the sounds they make might not be something you've never heard before, TMV guarantee they'll be something you'll want to hear for years to come.
THE GREAT STATESMEN are 4 guys based in London who like to make big noise. They've recently been Unsigned band of the week on both XFM and BBC radio 6 and can count Steve Lamacq and Jon Kennedy among their supporters. They write songs to make you dance, think and sing, hopfully like no one else
HIGH*CHILD grew up together surrounded by the rolling hills of Derbyshire. With little else to do other than climb trees and count sheep...Instruments were learnt. Songs were written. HIGH*CHILD was formed.
Influenced by the flare of the 60's and the grit of the 90's. Now based in London.
Brighton's HOLD FIRE are a band in their early 20s who write great songs together. Their music inspires the same sense of wellbeing as a brisk walk on the seafront on a sunny day: your heart beats a little bit faster, the colour comes to your cheeks, you're glad to be alive.
