The central evening of the BALTIC ART FORM festival, the Baltic Gala Night, will feature a mix of the classical and electronic music, as well as dance and immersive participatory performances.
Lithuanian pianist Aretas Botyrius and Hungarian violinist Betti Rácz will treat public with classical musical pieces. Award-winning Latvian musicians and composers Platon Buravicky and Rick Feds will play their latest contemporary music pieces. Ruta Vitskauskaite will present one of her latest immersive compositions. An acknowledged choreographer and a contemporary dance artist Klaudia Wittmann and dancers from Rambert will demonstrate outstanding dancing parts.
The art collective Analema Group will present the participatory sound and visual performance KIMA, exploring common roots of the Baltic languages through a multi-lingual poem by Evgenia Emets and a composition created in collaboration with Ben Zucker, performed by the audience and a choir.
Performances are going to be accompanied by live drawing of Maryleen Schiltkamp and life sculptures of Svetlana K-Lie.
At the closing of the night guests will be treated with our special guest, world-wide famous electronic musician Ulrich Schnauss.
