Georgia Lewis is a folk singer and avid accordionist from the depths of Wiltshire. Classically trained, she studied for her degree in Professional Musicianship at the Brighton Institute of Modern Music and, inspired by singer Sheila Chandra, travelled to India to study singing at the Arambol Music Academy. Despite her various musical explorations she has always been most moved by the folk singers she was introduced to as a child.

Accompanied by Rowan Piggott on violin and Felix "Flex" Miller on guitar, Georgia was another hit of the 2015 Village Pump Festival (see last week's Foreign Affairs) - the most talked about artist of the weekend.

Recently having taken up the whistles, Georgia began playing at Irish trad sessions, where she found Rowan, and quickly plucked him from his native habitat. When she's not revamping old folk ballads, she also finds time to play for both The Kemptown Céilí Band and The Redjacks.
