Those familiar with Steve Earle will know that Chris and Eleanor Masterson, who play in his band and often open the show for him, are two staggeringly talented musicians. According to Steve himself, "Chris is the best guitarist that's ever been in this band and Eleanor's better than any of us." In their own right, the husband and wife duo are an unmatched act - jaw dropping virtuosity, surprisingly hard hitting songs, expressive harmonies and masses of down home charm. Modern American roots music doesn't get much better.
