Ivo Neame is a forward thinking and innovative pianist, composer and multi-instrumentalist. As a musician of exceptional ability, Neame is developing a reputation as one of the most exciting and original pianists to emerge in some time.
Well known as the pianist with Phronesis and with Norwegian saxophonist Marius Neset, his most recent release Yatra saw him reach new heights as a composer leading an octet in a set of exuberant and creative originals.

With an abundance of ideas, his career is travelling on a new trajectory set to emulate the profile achieved by the likes of Django Bates.
The Ivo Neame Quintet features some of the most unique and creative musicians working in the UK. Their ability to improvise with subtlety and reckless abandon in equal measure results in music that is fresh, uncompromising and brimming with energy.

The group has performed all over the UK and Europe, receiving a standing ovation from a full house at the 2013 North Sea Jazz Festival. The most recent album Yatra was released to universal critical acclaim.
