THE SUMMERISLE SOCIETY presents a live show of Paul Giovanni's music from the film The Wicker Man, featuring songs such as Willow's Song, Gently Jonny, Corn Rigs, The Maypole Song, The Landlord's Daughter and the Widow's Lament all performed live as well as many of the dances and incidental themes from Paul Giovanni's score.
Led by Stephen Cracknell from The Accidental & The Memory Band, the Summerisle Society is a motley bunch of singers and players from the world of new folk paying tribute to this highly influential score which has done so much to shape the irreverent directions taken by young musicians with traditional music in recent years.
