Event information
Brother Mule is a couple of superb American roots musicians, fiddler Brian Wicklund from Minnesota and mandolinist Ben Winship of Idaho. They will be joined on their short UK tour by top London double bass player, singer and saxophonist Ben Somers. Together this versatile trio of talented acoustic musicians will bring us music spanning many genres including bluegrass, old-time Americana, Celtic folk, Western Swing and more. With top class musicianship and great singing, these guys are also funny and entertaining characters too.
The Carlile Institute is the home of Meltham Community Hub and is a fine 19th Century building in the heart of Meltham, with a beautiful first floor concert room (there is a brand new lift for those with mobility problems). There will be a licensed bar hosted by the Community Hub. Meltham is just a few miles from both Huddersfield and Holmfirth, with good bus links to the door and free car park directly behind the venue.
