We are delighted to bring this fantastic bill to The Greystones and to welcome outstanding US six-piece band The Black Lillies to the city and their Sheffield debut.

It’s nothing short of remarkable how far The Black Lillies have come in their six years, both in terms of miles and in terms of personal and musical growth. Through the ups and the downs, they’ve established themselves as one of the hardest-working and most dynamic bands touring today. With a re-imagined six-piece live lineup that includes new additions Sam Quinn (the everybodyfields), Mike Seal (Jeff Sipe Trio, Larkin Poe) and Jonathan Keeney (Robinella), it won’t be hard to please Black Lillies fans, and with a new album this great, they’re sure to bring a whole lot of new ones into the fold, too.

Guests are local Sheffield heroes The Fargo Railroad Co. These guys are just getting better and better and boast a country-wide fan-base. Their studio album This One's for You was released in September to a sold-out, fanatical audience at The Greystones. A stunning show indeed! Having the Fargo boys on this bill is just perfect.

Whoever you are, whatever music makes you hum, nod and tap, we hope you find some shared joy and sorrow in the sounds we make. We want to welcome all aboard to share in the Fargo experience and sincerely hope and believe it is becoming more than the sum of its parts.
