True North Music is proud to present a spectacular double bill of old time American music and dance!

Steeped in traditional Appalachian music and dance, singer, songwriter, musician and dancer Evie Ladin (ex Stairwell Sisters) has been playing banjo from the age of 8 and clogging since she was just 5. Trained as a jazz drummer, Keith Terry (double bass, percussion) is a skilled proponent of the art of body music. This California duo are sensational live performers. Foghorn Stringband is a quartet renowned for down home, foot stomping, ass-kickin’ old time music, with some Cajun and honky-tonk thrown in for good measure. With fiery fiddle, rapidfire mandolin, a rock steady rhythm section and classic harmony singing, this band draws on French-Canadian influences as well as roots in the South and West of the USA. Don’t miss this very special one-off double bill!
