‘MY GENERATION’ features a wonderful line up of mini double bills and women musicians who grew up listening to music on vinyl and transistor radio… and decided that they also wanted to PLAY!

Inspired by artists such as Joni Mitchell and Suzi Quatro, and with many self taught, they became the first wave of British women jazz musicians in the 1970s and 1980s.

Don't miss this special reunion from the Cartwright group of the 1990's who represented the UK at the Festival of European Jazz in Mexico City.

Original jazz fusion and Latin tunes by Deirdre Cartwright from the albums 'Debut' and 'Play', featuring the sax and virtuoso flute playing of Louise Elliott.
