A concert for curious minds. The orchestra will take you to the forests of Aulenko, home of Jean Sibelius, with music written by BBC Young Composer of the Year, Alex Woolf. Fly over the Finnish landscapes that inspired Sibelius, go deep into the meaning behind the notes and life of the man who wrote them. After a cocktail inspired by the music, the main event, Sibelius’ most iconic work, his fifth Symphony, will capture the natural world and promise spiritual renewal. It contains one of the greatest melodies ever written.
After the show there may be a chamber music jam. You’ll laugh, talk, and maybe get home a bit later than planned. The Arensky Chamber Orchestra is an orchestra of revolutionaries, dedicated to electrifying performance and mind opening presentation.
Ticket price includes a cocktail!
