They\'re back! True legends of the scene (though, what scene was that, exactly?)
They looked like the Everly Brothers. They even sang rather like The Everly Brothers.
But, they\'re Brits, so what you got was wit with a satirical edge and songs like \'My Sony Walkman Just Walked Out On Me...\'.
Reg Meuross and Rich Morton are about to hit the road on their 30th Anniversary, a limited run of dates.
They chose The Greys Brighton to play the first date on their 2014 reunion tour (Were you there? Phill Jupitus insisted, as a one off at The Greys, on opening for them as Porky the Poet!)
And now the Panic Brothers have asked to play here again on the exact date of their first gig!
Their close harmonies helped kickstart a true British appreciation of country music (with NBC coverage!) and, in the late 80\'s, they could be seen on TV on shows like Friday Night Live .
The Panic Brothers were all over festival stages such as the Edinburgh Festival, Sidmouth, Glastonbury and the Southbank Last Night Of The GLC.
Individually, they\'ve followed successful solo careers - Rich in musical stand up and Reg, highly respected in the political folk scene, with gentle / sharp political edges, played a fab Greys gig in 2015.
Reg also served time accompanying Hank Wangford across the country on the never ending Village Halls tour (now Andy \'Brad Breath\' Roberts sits tall in that saddle).
One Panic brothers coup is pretty dashed good - to secure a second coming is beyond rational belief...
Don\'t miss \'em!
