Standard Procedure is a fresh London based band made up of current and former students of Jazz at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. The group focus on the “dark corners” of Jazz, drafting in influences of Rock, Funk & Folk and cite their inspirations in Julian Siegel\'s Partisans and Nucleus.

The band is led by Sam Knight who in 2014 after joining the Guildhall School of Music & Drama became a member of NYJO (National Youth Jazz Orchestra), serving as an official deputy for the Tenor Saxophone chairs. He has also been a member of the Guildhall Jazz Orchestra since 2014 and has performed such works as Kenny Wheeler\'s \'Sweet Time Suite\' and John Taylor\'s \'The Traveller\'s Tail\' alongside special guest, Huw Warren.
