The ‘classic’ Vortex Jazz Quartet returns. Itself made up of superstars, with Huw Warren (of Perfect Houseplants and Quercus) on piano and John Parricelli (of Loose Tubes and Kenny Wheeler Quintet) on guitar. Tonight their special guest is singer Brigitte Beraha. In her time in London, she has carved a unique furrow – fascinating interpretations of standards ranging through to her work with Babelfish to vocalese in the works of Kenny Wheeler.
