Welcome visit of the South African drum master and his superb band.
Moholo-Moholo is one of the most significant drummers in the music, having powered such seminal groups such as the Brotherhood of Breath and Blue Notes from behind the kit. As well as leading his own bands, he has also collaborated throughout his career with the likes of Cecil Taylor, Evan Parker, Steve Lacy, Peter Brotzmann, and many others besides. The Blokes’ repertoire is drawn from throughout the many phases of Moholo-Moholo’s distinguished career.
