"For the live show Jon is backed by the remarkable Remnant Kings, who weave the traditional instrumentation of concertina, banjo and fiddle into a post industrial tapestry of electric guitar, thumping bass and clanging percussion'... sounds like Bellowhead on crack... They will also be playing songs from Jon's first solo album 'Painted Lady' and some trad favourites".
Jon and the band are kindly donating part of the proceeds of this gig toward the continued running of Oxford Folk Festival. The festival takes place 20th - 22nd March 2009 and is run entirely by volunteers on a 'not for profit' basis.
