MO KENNEY
http://mokenney.com
“New Zealand has Lorde – the UK has Foxes – and the U.S. has Lana Del Rey……Canada’s response to this trend…is the irresistibly beautiful, Mo Kenney.” - Mind Equals Blown
This is the year that Mo Kenney plugs in, quite literally. Known for her smooth vocals and fearless lyrics, the Canadian singer is touring to celebrate the release of her new album THE DETAILS.
Mo has released two records with long-time producer and Canadian rock mentor Joel Plaskett since 2012. With her third album, Mo comes fully and completely into her own as an artist; she swaps her trademark acoustic guitar for a Fender Mustang, tracing her own strange, devastating, and ultimately hopeful trip through the trials and tribulations of booze-fuelled breakdowns, clouds of depression, and disintegrating relationships.

Their latest album 'Season of the King' was released in October 2017 on Debt Records and features the singles 'The Bloodhound and the Fox', 'Could the Devil Be a Gentleman', and 'Crome Yellow', which was followed by the bands 4th live session for BBC 6 Music.
