Joe Newberry and April Verch are both master musicians, and their duo collaboration is fuelled by a shared passion for traditional music, blending folk, bluegrass and old time Americana.

Joe Newberry is a top notch banjoist, guitarist, singer and award-winning songwriter from North Carolina. A charismatic performer, Joe was a guest star on 2016’s popular Transatlantic Sessions live tour and regularly performs with other musicians including mandolin legend Mike Compton. April Verch is a world class fiddle player, step dancer and singer from Canada’s Ottawa Valley. She started step dancing at age three and playing the fiddle at age six! April has countless awards, ten albums and many years of worldwide touring under her belt with the April Verch Band.

With ballads, joyful fiddle tunes and poignant original and traditional songs. unsurpassed instrumental playing and April’s spectacular step dancing, this will be an unmissable, entertaining evening of roots music and dance at the Greystones.
