The Science of Metal at the Purple Turtle, Camden on 5th March brings together three of the most exciting progressive and power metal bands on today’s underground scene.

Son of Science and Sorcerer’s Spell were two of the most talked about bands on the Scuzz Underground stage at Bloodstock last year, and they are joined by prog masters Haken for a celebration of insane guitar shredding, extravagant keyboards and thunderous drums. You can also expect some superbly crafted melodies, set against bone-jarringly heavy riffs.

The evening brings together musicians from a diverse range of backgrounds, with influences from thrash to jazz in a kaleidoscope of rhythmic and harmonic styles, united by a love of metal.
