Under The Bridge presents... El Morgan & The Divers!

We're incredibly excited to have El Morgan back in Manchester for our first show of 2018. This time she'll be joined by her new band The Divers and together they'll blow you away!

If you're unfamiliar with, El is a folk/country singer armed with a powerful, soulful voice, unwavering passion and a grit and determination born from a love of punk rock and country music. She's now joined by The Divers - Katie Gatt (Lead Guitar), Jay Cavailer (Drums), Gabriel McKenzie (Bass), Rosalind Alice (Cello), and Tom Baker (Piano) - who help take her beautiful, life-affirming songs to another level.

Support comes from The Sad Song Co, the solo-ish project from Nigel Powell (Unbelievable Truth / Dive Dive / The Sleeping Souls) and Chloe Glover.

Combining the gentle nature of classic folk and country with just a little rock and roll, El Morgan and The Divers refuse to conform to expectations. At home in beautiful music hall venues, folk clubs and basement bars alike; this band is a wonderful anomaly - one that has turned a multitude of inspiration and talent into a sound of its own: Sombre, melancholy, and delivered with steely sincerity, these songs are dark, meditative, but are often met with a vital glimmer of hope.

Soft indie rock combined with smooth pop melodies, The Sad Song Co is the eclectic solo project from Nigel Powell (Unbelievable Truth / Dive Dive / Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls). Returning to Manchester after making his debut with us a couple of years ago, he returns in support of his new album 'Worth'.
