Gecko is one of the best songwriters in the UK right now and Under The Bridge is excited to welcome him back to Manchester as he tours in support of his brilliant debut album 'Volcano'.

Powerful, political, biting and brilliantly funny, an evening spent with Gecko is not one you'll forget in a hurry.

Gecko is a North London based artist, his playful lyrics cover the big things in life; think iPhones, Libraries & Guanabana fruit juice to name but a few.

Gecko has previously appeared at Glastonbury, Bestival, BBC Radio 1, 6 Music & the Edinburgh Fringe.

In November 2017 he launched his debut album 'Volcano' with a sold out London show, a session with John Kennedy on Radio X and a tour of Sofar Sounds shows across the UK and the Netherlands. It was made 'Album of the year' in the Morning Star.

He has shared stages with the likes of Billy Bragg, Ed Sheeran, Beans on Toast, Josie Long and Lee "Scratch" Perry.

In support of his brand new album 'Volcano', Gecko presents an evening of songs with his trademark wit and warmth.

Expect songs about Tooth fairy admin, long-haired folk heroines, ignored characters from Italian Renaissance paintings and lots of animals. Gecko has taken two successful shows to the Edinburgh Fringe and appeared at Glastonbury, Bestival, BBC Radio 1 & BBC 6 Music.
