Grannys4Skin, Normal Man + TBC

P | Friday 13th February, 2009 |
N | 7:00pm |
Eureka Machines are coming back to Leeds to promote our new single Everyone Loves You, which isn't actually out until April, but we have some copies to sell now, because we're a bit stupid like that.
We'll be on about 10.15pm or something, but get down early because Grannys4Skin are playing and they're the world of fun. Serious comedy rock fronted by Hyde Park legends Dodge and Scannell. New Leeds genii Normal Man will also be performing who you might know better as Noah Brown (Yes Boss/Baby Food) and Benbow (Cafe Adam/saying 'fruity' and 'brutal' all the time).
Opening up the night will be an acoustic set from the evil pop genius Paul Morricone of 'The Scaramanga Six' fame.
Plus the whole event is compered by Little Elvis, Leeds' premiere underage Elvis tribute act, who will be performing a special guest slot with us at the end of the night, which is not to be missed.
It's only 4 quid in as well. We don't believe in ripping people off (too much). And at Leeds' best venue - the bloody marvellous Brudenell Social Club in Hyde Park, where beer costs about 7p a pint, crisps are free and they actually pay you to play pool.*
It will also be our last Leeds gig with the mighty Steve Morricone on bass. He's leaving to form a new band he's starting, called 'The Scaramanga Six'. So come down and say hello, and goodbye.
