The Missing Rejects…. Mellows Memorial Night
When I was first putting this night together it was to celebrate the life of a real good mate of mine from my old Scootering days when we were in The Worcester Rejects S.C. together, a lad called Marc Banks we affectionately knew as Mellow who was taken from us way too soon in a skydiving accident. But then Bod, another real good mate was also snatched from us in his prime. I had known Bod (Roger Osbourne) since I was around 14 and a nicer guy you’ll never meet.
Both of these guys were known for their zest for life and happy go lucky attitudes….. but it got me to thinking of the others we have lost, Darren Rastall, Suggs, Pete Robinson…..
So, in their memory, tonight we are going to celebrate the lives of all those absent friends with a night of Ska and Soul music and party like there’s no tomorrow, just like they would have done.
