HEARD
Daisy and Cerian co-founded the collective Heard after they first met in the studio recording vocals for Radiohead’s album A Moon Shaped Pool in 2016 and started performing together on the London circuit.
Both multi-instrumentalists with Celtic roots and renowned for their angelic voices, they decided to combine forces and form a new collective of female musicians who tour together, play together and support one another. The idea was born out of a desire for more female representation in the music industry and was inspired by other collectives such as Nashville-based I’m With Her, British collaboration Songs of Separation and music by indie folk/pop bands like First Aid Kit and The Staves.
Daisy and Cerian wanted to take their music beyond London, and in this exciting new format they now embark on a UK tour together as Heard alongside special guests. Between them they play a dozen different instruments from classics like guitar and piano to the more unusual harp and banjo. For this tour they will join together onstage combining their talents to share their original songs and newly-crafted arrangements of classics.
Daisy Chute
Scottish-American Daisy Chute is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist currently working on her début album of original folk and americana songs. Often spotted wielding a banjo, Daisy is a regular in the London music scene and has been taught and mentored by rock royalty Sir Ray Davies, featured as a vocalist on Radiohead's latest album A Moon Shaped Pool, and even got the thumbs up from Sir Paul McCartney after a performance at the Royal Albert Hall. One of Paul Sexton's 'top music tips' for 2018, Daisy's music and voice has been described as “Exquisitely delicious. Delicate, like a gossamer-winged creature made out of spun gold." Tony Moore (Soho Radio, The Bedford)

Cerian
London singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Cerian, has been described as a cross between Kate Bush, Joni Mitchell and London Grammar. She has been a BBC Introducing featured artist and recently recorded with Radiohead on their latest album. Classically trained in voice, harp, piano and guitar, Cerian weaves together melodic vocals and rich harmony with a love of poetry and literature, her songs often quoting from legendary writers such as William Blake, Percy Bysshe Shelley, Samuel Taylor Coleridge, Jack Kerouac and Lewis Carroll to create heartfelt poetic musical journeys. Having sung with the likes of U2, Tom Chaplin, Imogen Heap, Laura Mvula, Newton Faulkner and Amber Run, Cerian is now taking on the world with her own brand of contemporary ethereal folk and is looking forward to releasing her much-anticipated debut EP this Summer.
