A fundraiser in aid of The Brain Tumour Charity: The Michael Barry Fund
In February 2016, just a few weeks after his 35th birthday, we lost our friend Michael Barry to cancer.
Michael was diagnosed with a brain tumour in January 2014, and the bravery and courage he showed throughout his illness was truly inspirational. Since he passed away Michael's wife Lucy has started The Michael Barry Fund to raise money for The Brain Tumour Charity and help fund vital research so that we can fight for a future where no more bright young lives like our Michael are lost to this cruel disease.
So, in the spirit of Michael's legendary Abort Retry Fail? nights, we host We Are Your Friends to celebrate the good times he gave us and raise money in his name. Whether you knew Michael, attended his Abort Retry Fail? nights or just want to party with some killer bands and DJs and see the summer off in style, get your tickets now!
KELLY LEE OWENS
After an outstanding year in which Kelly's debut album appeared on numerous 'album of 2017' lists, including #3 on Pitchfork's top electronic albums and #33 in all genres, 2018 only goes from strength to strength with remarkable remixes of St Vincent's 'New York' and Bjork's 'Arisen My Senses'. She arrives in Oxford on the back of festival performances at Roskilde, Pitchfork Festival and Green Man among others, bringing her incredible mix of cavernous techno, spectral pop, and krautrock's mechanical pulse.

DAGGA DOMES
"The brainchild of Kit Monteith, Jeremy Moors and Andrew Warne, Dagga Domes can only be described as a celestial sonic journey through time and space. Their debut offering, electronic odyssey “Spent My Love”, is a musical rollercoaster filled with intricate production, bruising beats and Alexis Taylor type vocals; the new gritty sound of the Greater Oxford metropolitan area." - Line of Best Fit.

ZEROWE
“Creative, forward-thinking R&B is (somewhat) difficult to come by these days, as it seems artists are trying to stick to a safer approach instead of taking risks. Zerowe, an act we just came across today, is an exception to this trend, and, although we've no wealth of info about the artist, with debut project Beats and X-Rays, we're getting some sleek, smooth electronic-R&B we can definitely get behind.“
