Ranagri are a contemporary folk band comprising of musicians Dónal Rogers, Ellie Turner, Eliza Marshall and Joe Danks who have come together to create some exciting new music. Consisting of flutes and Irish whistles, electric harp, bodhran, guitars, bouzouki and voices, Ranagri fuse celtic folk music with quality contemporary songwriting, enhanced by virtuosic instrumentals, vibrant rhythms and haunting melodies, all interlaced with vivid storytelling.

They bring catchy hooks and sublime instrumental blends to traditional tunes as well as their original songs, characterised by Donal's ability to spin a great yarn, delivering the stories with crystal-clear vocal. Robust bass lines flow from Ellie's fingers at the electric harp, the perfect partner to Eliza's finessed flutes and whistles. Joe's' bodhran has a boisterous energy that takes the drum kit role and pays it forward with irresistable cross-rhythms and the addition of stomp box and African udu.

Ranagri will be showcasing new songs from their new freshly wrapped fourth studio album due out at the time of this concert and from their critically acclaimed releases 'Voices', 'Tradition' & 'Fort of the Hare'

Opening the night are special guests Plumhall, who are Michelle Plum and Nick B Hall, a feisty acoustic duo whose award winning self-penned songs are already winning them plaudits from the likes of R2 Magazine (4 stars), Miles Hunt (The Wonder Stuff), Steve Knightley & Phil Beer (Show of Hands) and many more.
