Katie Mac is a singer-songwriter from Huyton, Liverpool.
Taking influence from Laura Marling, Joni Mitchell and Regina Spektor, she has also been compared to the likes of Patti Smith, PJ Harvey and Kate Bush. Katie took her music to the next level by adding five band members to her solo act, and self-organising two full UK tours in 2016/2017.
She has found great support off Dave Monks of BBC Introducing in Merseyside, and has been opened up towards a national audience with the help of BBC Radio 6 Music.
Katie Mac and the band have recently been in the studio to record her first EP which is out on Friday 24th August 2018. The EP has been produced by Sam Duckworth of Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly., and the project was funded by Merseyside Arts Foundation.
This tour is launch this EP entitled ‘Believe’, and we are very much looking forward to welcoming Katie and her band back once more to The Castle Hotel.
Chloë Foy:

Chloë writes a brand of melodic, homegrown pop that has been likened to such artists as Laura Marling and Sharon Van Etten. Her songs are imbued with lyrical and textural inflections evocative of much of the music she loves. Taking inspiration from classical music as much as wider trends within British and American Indie pop, Chloë’s music comprises of carefully constructed arrangements that delicately compliment her cryptic lyrics.
Her first EP ‘In The Middle Of The Night’ was released in June 2013 and was playlisted by Steve Lamacq on his BBC Radio 2 and BBC Radio 6 Music shows. Chloë’s most recent EP, ‘Are We There Yet’ was released in 2017, and was well received by both UK and international press. The first single ‘Flaws’ was described as ‘beautiful, relatable and stunning’ by important industry website The Line of Best Fit and has been prominently featured on many industry blogs including Ear to The Ground who described her as their ‘favourite songwriter of this, or any year.’
The singles ‘In The Middle Of The Night’ and ‘Flaws’ have generated more than 2 million plays on Spotify and featured on a wealth of Spotify official playlists including Lost In The Woods and The Most Beautiful Songs In The World.
