anteloper was realised when drummer-turned-singer Stuart Grey found himself in need of a bed and guitarist (and former band mate) Ped Teale offered him his spare. Late night song writing ensued, joined by fellow house dweller Shantha Roberts on organ & synth (and a dog and a cat).

Bass player Charlie “long” Higgs (of Jessica's Brother) was enticed through the door having heard rumours of this productive happening gathering pace, and he seduced Jonny Helm (also of Jessica's Brother and The Wave Pictures) with the oddly anteloper-shaped rhythms that were forming, completing the family.

In March 2018 anteloper got snowed-in making their debut EP (released on 26 September 2018) at a recording studio in Somerset. This is the launch for that aforementioned EP.
